A Little Bit About Me
I am an Electrical Engineering graduate, and have recently moved to San Jose California, where I work as a Quality Assurance Engineer. Before this, I spent 9 years in Wichita, Kansas to earn my BS and MS degrees, both with Honors. People who know me describe me as a decent, honest, witty, intelligent, creative, sincere and caring person with a good sense of humor. I admire elegance and cleanliness and try to incorporate them in my world as much as I can. My upbringing has nurtured me with core Islamic morals, and I take pride in our Islamic legacy. I am here because I feel that I am ready now to take my life to the next setp. My hobbies include eating out, shopping, movies, reading, photography, music, and making cardboard models and art forms. I am not a big sports fan, but feel like watching when there is something big going on. I do enjoy playing solo sports, such as tennis, racquet ball, pool etc. Some of my favourite books would be 'The Complete works of William Shakespere', Kuliyaat e Iqbal and Charles Dickens' david copperfield. I have resorted to reading more more magazines recently. We are Sheikh by caste. We have a rather compact family- just me, my mom and my sister & her family. My Father passed away last year. Our extended family is settled mostly in Jhelum, Punjab. Even though I come from a Punjabi family, I grew up speaking Urdu. I was born in Karachi, but spent most of my early childhood in Kuwait. Just before the Gulf War, we moved back to Karachi- I was in 2nd grade back then. When I passed my 10th grade exam, we moved back to Kuwait, where I did my FSc, and then in 2001 I move to the US for higher education.

What I Am Looking For
Looking for someone with a great personality, and a loving and caring nature. One who knows how to respect elders, give priority to family and build social relationships. One who enjoys beautifying the home, and learning new things. One who knows how to balance career and family. I love neatness and cleanliness, and would prefer a similar habit in my partner. Above all, I would want my spouse to be respectful of our religuous values and teachings.
